Three of us went to find and record the NE corner of the Ochs property - which is across the Samish River from the main part of the land. We were hoping for low water and knee-boot wading. That part didn't work, but we found and marked the corner!
There it is!

So if these three guys show up at a deep river with only two pair of hip-boots ....
It was tough going but we kept a straight line and found several fence posts marking the north property edge.
