Day Creek Planting

Ten hearty souls: Land Trust staff, Board members, Stewards, and Volunteers came out on a chilly, dribbly, gray morning to get some trees in the ground!

There are several parts of Day Creek property.  We are planting on the Berquist site and the Slough site.

Two wonderful people came a day early and augered all the holes and staged the plants!  A good thing - lots of rocks.

A few trees are quite large,but most are very small.  All are potted.

We put stakes with protectors on all of them that we could.

We all have our own technique and all of them seem to work fine!
