A nice collection of staff, stewards, volunteers, new Americorps and Emerson school folks came out and planted several hundred willow and cottonwood "stakes" in a wet area of the Barney Lake property along College Way and by Trumpeter Creek and Nookachamps Creek. This is a huge area of many acres that will have a lot of new trees growing in the next few years.
