Kosbab Slough Tree Planting
March 10, 2007
The Kosbab Slough property is situated next to the area where Day Creek Slough meets up with the Skagit River.  This area is important for salmon.

Trees and shrubs were planted to restore and improve wild-life habitat, reduce erosion, and improve water quality.

Eleven people and 2 dogs participated and planted about 1100 trees and shrubs in 3 1/2 hours.

Everyone seemed to have a good time, despite the rain!
