The Sedro-Woolley Earth Corps Kids and four other volunteers worked on this very nice day to plant about 2,000 willows in the large field at Kosbab Slough, out along the South Skagit Highway.
They are holding a big bundle (one of many!) of the willow shoots.
First there was a little refresher on the parts and process, and also a description of the area and property.
Then you "picked your poison!" - long-handle or short handle!
It does not take much of a hole to plant a willow shoot, but you do need to slip this plastic rodent protector over it and bury it well and secure.
A few of the hard workers.
Oliver is more of a supervisor than a worker.

Thanks S-W Earth Corps for coming out again and doing a big job!
