Here is the group heading in and then learning the counting details.  Cardboard is for piling pulled ivy on so it won't re-root!

It's a big area.  We divide it into three sections and practice identifying nests and types of trees.

Trees with these tags have had nests in previous years.  We tagged several new-nest trees.

A fallen nest.  We record these, and what tree they fell from.
