Samish Island Ivy Pulling

A group came out on this pretty day to remove still more invasive ivy vines from the Samish Island Heron Nesting site.

Some folks worked to root out the teeny missed spots - can you spot it?

Others worked on the big infestations ...

It comes out in long vines.

Roll them up and hang them off the ground

-or-

pile them on carboard so they don't resprout.
