Samish Island Ivy Pulling

A bunch of people came out on this pretty day to remove even more invasive ivy vines from the Samish Island Heron Nesting site.

Great progress- more to go!

You pull it out of the ground, cut it off trees, and pile it up so it won't

re-sprout.

It's a pretty walk in and out, with a LOT of nests up in the tall trees.  Birds pretty much gone now.
