Here is a tree with a new nest - quite low. The tree never had nests before. The herons are slowly moving the Heronry.

Meanwhile the Ivy pullers look down. A lot less glamorous but essential to allow native growth to thrive. A big area was nicely cleared.
There is a large eagle nest on the property. It is believed that this is good - these eagles keep other eagles well removed - thus limiting the predation of the heron chicks. Two were active in the sky above us.
