Barney Lake Tree Planting

About 20 hearty souls - staff and volunteers - came out on a chilly, blustery, threatening morning to begin planting a big new piece of the Barney Lake property.  We met up top of the hill and got a a good look from the locals!

Then it was a long muddy walk to the site where we got a good orientation of the property and what we would be doing.

Here is a look at the site we will plant and then we start right in.  Holes pre-drilled!  There is a variety of bare-root plants with blue protectors ready to go.
