Minkler Lake Ivy Pull  October 21, 2016

The land steward, three staff members, and six volunteers on site for ivy pulling on part of the pretty Minkler Lake property.  A nice day for it.

It is very thick.  You find a spot and keep working to enlarge your cleared area.  Eventually you join up with the worker next to you.

We pile it on cardboard to prevent re-rooting.

Here is the pile after clearing two areas like you see on either side!

Trash, wire and a toaster!

When pulling ivy makes you smile, you are a true volunteer!
