Seven Land Trust staff and volunteers came out to the pretty Cumberland Creek Conservation Area to do some trail work - mainly clipping back encroaching shrubs and removing winter deadfall.
Here is some land that is being treated to remove invasive black berry and which will soon be replanted.
Promises of spring. This has been a long, chilly, drab, damp several months!
Many of the spruce trees that have been planted along the trail are doing well.
Thanks everyone - three hours of good work.
(I hope the guy with tennis shoes did not wear them the whole time!)
