Cumberland Creek Trail Building (cont.)

There is a nice grove of tall cedars - some in a long row.  Were they planted that way or did they all grow from a "nurse log?"

There are also some patches of invasive holly and knotweed - hopefully to be eradicated.

Trimming dangerous dead branches and more smoothing and grubbing!

Here is the stream overlook we took the trail to.  More work will extend it further upstream along the bank.

There MUST be blackberries!  Here we grub out the very start of the trail through a mighty patch!
