Samish Island Ivy Pulling

Two Land Trust staff and many volunteers are here in the early AM for a morning of ivy pulling.  Lots of Samish Islanders!

Here is a pile from a previous effort.

You find a patch and start pulling, roots and all!

We pile it on cardboard so it won't re-root.

 

The ivy is often hidden down in the underbrush.
