Graber is a new site up above Hiway 20 near Anacortes and overlooking Fidalgo Bay. Several volunteers and staff met to visit it and begin much needed maintenance work. Here is the first view from the small parking area. We posted a sign which is visible from the Hiway 20.
There are small open areas surrounded by all sorts of trees and invasives.
Some went after ivy under trees and others went at the blackberry. There is a lot of Holly to be dealt with later as well. Others hauled out debris.
It is not all invasive infested! A beautiful pond and streams in deep ravines provide a wonderful natural and wild aspect to the place. Many tall, stately firs.
