Quite a nice group of volunteers and staff out here at part of the Flower Farm property to plant some trees and shrubs while the ground is soft and wet. Give them a good growing start.

Get a shovel and some plants and get to work!
Lots of wetlands and cat tails on the property.
There were a LOT of blackberries too, but they have been removed and formed in to many piles.
Poison hemlock to be eradicated.
Roots too long for the hole? Cut them off.
Here is an Oregon Grape just planted. Many of the shrubs and trees were much smaller - all bare root.
Several hundred were planted and it will be great this summer to see how they are doing.
