Minkler Lake Planting and Cleanup

Land Trust staff, board member, and 4 volunteers came out to this great property on a chilly day.  We have about 50 plants to get in the ground and blackberry and ivy to keep working to remove.

We are planting along the edges of this old driveway to keep it as a walking path.

Here we are, working!

We put the blue protectors on them to be sure they get a good healthy start.  We will come back and remove them in two or three years.

It's never too late to "sign in."  Recorded volunteer hours are important to show how so many people give so much for these kinds of efforts.
