Eight kids and eight adults braved a chilly and wet morning to work at the Kosbab Slough area along the south side of the Skagit River. Trees planted several years ago need their "protectors" removed, and this was just the group to tackle that!
It is quite a long hike out to the work site - here is the first bunch headed out.
Some protectors are mesh, like to the right, some are solid blue plastic, like below.
They ALL are hard to get off.
